Anecdotally, I've talked with a handful of people over the years who say they felt overly pressured by salespeople in the solar industry. Those installers are SolarCity, Verengo, Vivint Solar, REC Solar and Sungevity. Bad Taste". Please will someone look into alternatives? They are ranked in GTM Research's PV Leaderboard from Q2 2012 to Q2 2013:

Hi, I purchased the house in Brentwood, CA-94513 on April 22,2021, and the contract .

 The Worst US Solar Installers,Sungevity-: Spruce Power Sucks:Bad Taste". Please will someone look into alternatives? 

 All Across The Nation.The solar industry term "customer acquisition" is a euphemism for "convincing people to spend money.

To lease, or prepay, Amount 16954$ has been paid towards the Transfer of Solar agreement. Spruce Power,UCC forms not available for a year now.There's no exact time frame for when that will be ready.Homeowners are  disappointed with the service they have been known to give. 

There  are no excuses, other than we take cash, and send out bills, no exchanges given, is our normal way to work, past the buck,  received by our customer.The contract prepay of Amount 16954$ has been paid towards the Transfer of Solar agreement.

 Our records indicate our customer’s concerns are getting addressed. We are pending replacement equipment. Once received, we will follow up with our customer to schedule an appointment.  Our records indicate that our vendor was unable to confirm an appointment with our customer, which resulted in the sent letter. We spoke to him directly to verify his information for our vendor and to apologize for his experience. At this time, our customer's system is functioning properly and nothing additional is needed. Spruce Power is constantly working on improving service levels for our customers in order to provide a better, more sustainable future. 

The Solar has been NOT producing, not sure since how long but when I asked for the first time on May 4th2021, there has been no response even after writing so many emails or making telephone calls towards making an attempt to repair or provide the service which is causing a lots of pain and deficiency of service especially in this summer when the power generation is at its peak .That would cause loss to me and correspondingly increasing the **** bills which is not serving the purpose of Solar even after paying such a hefty amount.

 I request hereby to resolve the issue at the earliest or refund at least the *** * Bill amount since the system has gone down if the service cannot be provided soon and the problem cannot be addressed soon. Contract -******* Thanks, Santhosh


What to do now, here is another complaint, how mistakes are made, look how much time was wasted. We had leased panels with NRG. Sold house and transferred the panels through NRG (assignment and assumption dated NOV 18,2020, house sale completed Dec4 ,2020).

We moved and a month later get a letter stating our lease has been sold to SPRUCE then we started getting bills. I tried calling, on hold for 20-30 minutes where they say email is faster.

I got no response for days and then a weird email telling me i can pay my bill on the phone as their online billing is down. I finally got a real response after about 7 emails where they told me to chose a different option when calling.

They answered on April 27,2021, saw in my file that I sold, and the panels were transferred but the new owner had never been put in or billed. They said it would be fixed but today MAY 24th,2021. I got another bill. Try calling a on hold for 20 minutes, so I emailed them. will probably take more than 2 days for a response saying to call again.
